Join us for To Mars and Beyond VBS this summer, where kids will explore where God's power can take them. To Mars and Beyond VBS is filled with incredible Bible-learning experiences that kids can see, hear, touch, and even taste! Children ages 3 through rising 6th grade are invited to REGISTER NOW!
About To Mars and Beyond VBS
We begin each day at Assembly Time where kids will eat a snack dinner, sing songs, learn the Bible Point of the day, and share their God Sightings! (Evidence of God in every day life). Children will then rotate through stations, each station building on the Bible Point of the day. They will fly to Bible Story Station, where interactive Bible lessons help faith flow into real life . Here kids also discover Bible memory verses that will remain with them in their faith long after VBS. Kids will get creative at the Craft Station, through crafts and experiments; Play, run, and have a ton of fun at Recreation Staion; And finally kids will help others as they work on mission projects and enjoy tasty treats at the Snacks & Missions Station. At then end of each day, we will all come back together for Reflection & Wrap Up. (Please note that this VBS is very active and hands-on, and can sometimes get a little messy. Please plan to send your child in play clothes and safe shoes!)
Preschoolers, ages 3-5 (not entering Kindergarten) will experience the same To Mars and Beyond VBS adventure as their Elementary-aged friends, but in smaller group setting. They will open and close with everyone for songs, then stay with their small group for their own games, crafts, snacks, Bible story time, and more! (All children must be potty trained please!)
July 24-27 (Wed/Thurs/Fri) 6:00pm-8:30pm; Saturday, July 27, 9am-12noon
(We will have a closing celebration and family hot dog lunch to follow on Saturday).
Will be available for purchase for $5 each in the Narthex, or Church Office beginning June 1. Music is such an important part of our VBS, and listening and practicing before VBS is a fun way to get your kids excited about it.
It takes many hands to make VBS possible. Please consider serving in some way during VBS this year! Whether it be with set up or clean up, crafts, crew leaders, or the other opportunities to serve, we have a place for you! Please click on the above link to see how you can help!
VBS is free to all children who attend. It’s because of the generosity of those who donate or allow us to borrow items for VBS that we can continue to offer free VBS. Please consider signing up to help support VBS through your donation of an item or gift card.
