How Can You Help?

Trunk or Treat is one our largest community outreach events at WFUMC and there are many opportunities to serve. Please prayerfully consider how you can help! You can sign up to decorate your trunk, donate items, or volunteer by using this link: https://www.signupgenius.com/go/10c054fabaa29aa8-trunk5

Trunk Or Treat Donation Needs

We will serve a hot dog dinner to all attendees, but we need help providing chips and bottled waters. Please consider donating bottled waters and/or individual bags of chips, pretzels or crackers, bags of apples and/or clementines. There will be a donation bin in the Narthex.

Treats for Tummies Mission

Trunk or Treat is free to all, however please consider supporting the WFUMC Food

Collection Drive to benefit Tri-Area Ministry and Hope House by donating food items,

or monetary donations to help support these very important ministries within our

community. No child should go hungry and we want to help make sure the kids have

treats for their tummies! We will have a missions tent set up to take your donations at Trunk or Treat.

Items Needed:  Peanut Butter, Jelly, Canned Meat, Canned Fruit, Canned Vegetables, Canned Soups, Cereal, Diapers (size 4, 5, &6), Diaper Wipes, and Feminine Products.

*No glass jars please.

Trunk Decorating

Those who wish to participate in the Trunk or Treating portion of the event by decorating your trunks and handing out goodies, please sign up online and you will receive more specific details. The parking area for trunks has been moved to the parking lot by the gazebo. Please try to have your “trunks” in your parking place by 4pm for safety reasons.

Volunteers

We need people to serve in the following roles during the event: Kitchen Helper, Check-In, Set-Up, Clean Up, Parking Attendants, Trunk or Treat Area Attendants. All it takes is a 1 hour commitment.
