Weekly News

It is our prayer that when finding your church home, you are met with the Holy Spirit and experience God through God's Word, God's people, and God's works.  "Home" may look different to many but it encompasses a sense of belonging and love.  Welcome home!

At Wake Forest UMC, we reach out to ALL in the name of Jesus Christ. We believe that by reaching out to all people LIKE JESUS DID (all really does mean all!), we can be a part of God’s work to make disciples (people who follow Jesus and are trying to live like He did) and transform the world for GOOD.  When people truly feel like they belong and that they are LOVED in community with others, God can do amazing work in shaping us into committed Jesus followers, and through us, to change our communities.

We reach out because God first reached out to us.

Covid 19 Update

Following the CDC recommendations, mask-wearing, social-distancing, and good hand-hygiene practices are still strongly recommended for all indoor gatherings for children, youth, or adults.  We also acknowledge that those who are unvaccinated or having underlying health issues are at a greater COVID-19 risk when worshipping inside.  Please stay home if you are exhibiting flu-like symptoms or have had contact with anyone confirmed to have Covid-19 in the last 14 days or recently tested positive for the virus or awaiting test results.  We will continue to monitor and make adjustments as we move forward. As United Methodist we seek to do no harm and as followers of Jesus Christ we are called to love our neighbors.
