As we journey towards Advent we will explore the rich symbol of life, this cup you will receive is a symbol, a container for holding something. Whatever it holds has to eventually be emptied out so that something more can be put into it. Anyone thirsting for a more intimate and disciplined life of prayer will find a rich wellspring. Joyce Rupp shares how the ordinary cups that we use each day can become sacred vessels that connect us with life and draw us ever closer to God, its emptiness and fullness, its brokenness and flaws, and all of its blessings. This will be held at Helen and Don Champion’s home starting at 6:30 p.m. around a simple meal. The dates are November 9, 23 and December 7 and a half day retreat to be decided as a group. Please contact Helen at if you are interested.
