The Estes family wanted to share our JOY and express our Thanks for the good news that Karen received yesterday from the doctor. She had an MRI on Wednesday and went to Duke yesterday for the results, expecting to be started back on chemo and Avastin as soon as her shingles are gone. To their surprise and amazement, the doctor came in and said "YOU ARE CURED" no sign of the tumor, no cancer, no more chemo, no more treatments, "go live your life like you used to"...They could not believe their ears! This kind of tumor was not supposed to be curable! We are reminding ourselves how many people have prayed for her since she was diagnosed in August 2008! God is so good! She is still very weak and has pain from the shingles, but that is temporary!
