Chris's Race for Hope

Chris Coby, a devoted husband, father, a great Christian athlete and a member of Wake Forest UMC is committed to sharing the Good News of God's love through Jesus Christ by supporting a growing mission outreach program called the Wilmington Area Rebuilding Ministry (W.A.R.M).

Recently, he and over 32 members from Wake Forest UMC attended a work effort to assist 9 families doing home repairs and to be a friend to people never met before. Through this experience God has spoke to Chris’s heart to bring this ministry additional support through his participation in the Beach to Battleship Triathlon on November 1st, 2008. This is more than just another triathlon for Chris. This is an opportunity to compete in a race to give hope to those suffering and in great need. ...Read More
